Walkways and Paths
Straight right angled cement that passes in front of your home is a sidewalk, not a path. A path has a bend or a curve. It may include bricks or stones; it could be made of gravel or paving stones. The path reflects and compliments the home and the personal taste of its owners. It can have a destination or simply meander about the property.
To protect the beauty of these special paths, the initial construction is very important. At Boston Brick & Stone, we grade down far enough to allow at least 4 inches of concrete encasing a rebar grid before the decorative brick or stone is added. This process reduces the risk of the path separating, popping up or shifting.

A striking brick path at the entry of a home provides invaluable curb appeal to any home. A lovely stone walk that gently curves to a secluded patio, adds to the overall beauty. A unique combination of stone, gravel and mortar path puts the personal signature of the owner to the property in a beautifully subtle way.
