Landscape Design & Installation
Our landscaping specialists in Los Angeles work with designers or directly with homeowners.
Whatever the vision, whatever the task, our goal is to exceed your expectations.
“As a designer, I’m pretty particular about the way these things go in. I spent a lot of time working on the details of the brickwork here, the shape of the firebox, the herringbone hearth. And not just any mason can do that kind of work.
It’s been particularly comforting to me to know that whatever they do for me, it’s going to be done right.”
Lynn Scott Smith - Landscape Designer
Many of our customers are surprised to learn that we do landscape design and installation. Boston Brick & Stone started back in 2000 when a General Contractor we worked for installing concrete, stone and brick flatwork – begged us to do the entire project. We agreed and today we have an entire division of the company dedicated to landscape design and installation.
Landscaping is an area that demands skill in several key areas. Not only does one have to understand basic masonry, you also have to be proficient in plumbing, electrical, drainage and of course – plants with all attendant data regarding soil, moisture and sunlight. Boston Brick & Stone has mastered these areas by hiring an electrician for a Quality Control Manager and a plumber for a production manager. To keep our costs down, we sub out the planting to several different subs who do nothing but work on the planting end of the projects. We work for several prominent landscape designers, some who refuse to have anyone but Boston Brick & Stone install their designs.
